In June 2000, Dan's Pawn purchased three additional pawnshops, but they sold one store the same day to a competitor. They ran the second store, Rock 'N Hock Music & Pawn, for a few months before concluding operations. The third store was rebranded Dan’s Pawn - Springfield and served the greater Springfield area for 18 years.

Unfortunately, both stores were hit hard by Hurricane Michael in October 2018 (a Category 5 hurricane). The Springfield store was a near-total loss. But the St Andrews store was cleaned up, repaired, and re-opened in less than a year (on Nov 1, 2019). They are proud to have recovered one of their stores and are truly glad to be "back on Beck".

Dan's Pawn is family-owned and operated, with Avery and Carla working in the business on a daily basis. All three of their grown children worked five or more years at the business before going off to college, and their customer-centric values have strengthened the company.

Over the years, Dan's Pawn has taken a strong leadership role in the pawn industry at the local, state, and national levels. They give back to the community through numerous charitable and sponsorship events and are proud to have realized their original vision of meeting the needs of Bay County's working families. They look forward to continuing their commitment to loaning small amounts of money and saving folks money when they “buy used".
